Love Good Earth, it would look amazing on our summer nature table and fun to play with in between seasons, all 3 kids love playsilks but we need some boyish ones!

Tricky, there are so many fabulous colours. I'd probably go for the rainbow twister (pink version) and would either use it as a canopy above a bed, or take it camping and peg across the guy ropes, as a sunshade. For that size anyway. Smaller would make be great around neck or waist to jazz up a pair of jeans or even a lbd (if I could get into an lbd)!

Oooh my word verification is funnes - how fun!

I can see Aleksi hiding in the woods under his camouflage playsilk - probably to avoid his sister, who would be wanting to play princesses with her hot pink playsilk!

The sunshine was is for me - I'm so ready for winter to be over. I would give it to my children and let them play. I would love to see what they would come up with.

Yellow, sunshine ~ we would hang it above our heads, surrounded by stuffed animals & toys, reading aloud fairy tales for hours, or until Mommy's voice gave out. :-)

I would sew them together to make a make a big parachute. ( the kind the kids hang onto the ends and move up and down)

My daughter would love Good Earth. I am in the process of collecting Easter basket goodies for her... wool critters, felting tools, wooden mushrooms, etc and I thin that scarf would make a perfect cushion for it all!

Such beautiful silks. As a teacher in an impoverished area, the silk alone would be a novelty for most of my kindergarteners. All of them would likely have endless fun trying all sorts of things with silks. I personally love sky blue but my students would be happy with any colour.

I would love a rainbow one....and my kids and i would play little "red" riding hood and that would be our cape....and we'd play superhero and picnic!!

there isn't anything we wouldn't do if we had one!!

We would love the Heart of the Fire Playsilk. I would start by using it rather than grass in their Easter basket this year. (They're going to share since they're getting WAHM toys rather than candy and junk) Then my oldest would love to use it for all sorts of things. (ie Cape, dress, canopy) My youngest would just love to touch it and chew on it right now.
If you're asking what I personally do with them... I have worn them on my head and been a gypsie with my oldest, and we've used one as a purse in a pinch.

my little girl would *adore* the sweetheart one! her favourite game at the moment is wrapping her toys up in pieces of fabric & giving them to people as gifts to open :) (but she makes sure to retrieve them again quickly lol)

what a generous offer!

My favorite is Ice Cap, followed by Good Earth! My girls would use the playsilks as blankets for their babies, as head scarves for dress up, and for swaddling all of the animals they take care of around our house, our most recent obsession being horses. They also just love to stuff them in purses so they can carry around something beautiful!

I think my niece would love Sweetheart she is such a princess. Play silks are like empty box's they can be anything a kid dreams up! My neice would use it to dress up for sure but the real fun would be to see all of the things she comes up with to do with it. I am sure Rowan has surprised you with her ideas. :)

I love midnight. I'd use it to line a cardboard box that came with an Etsy purchase to serve Russian chocolates for my colleagues to celebrate that my dissertation is finally written. Actually, it is used that way right now and so far my son didn't notice that the most beautiful colour of his set had disappeared :)

I love them all! I fell in love with the rainbow fairy silkies though as they are smaller and has the whole color palette!!! Beauties! I would tie them together to make a rainbow snake. I would tie/clip them to my 11 months old's wrist and ankles for dancing :)! When a bit older I would use it to cover objects for a game of memory. Wouldn't that be superb and so visually stimulating!!! I would put them on the ground and on a rainy day use a hairdryer or of course the wind to make them "hop" and fly in the air. I would tie them in a knot and spread the colors out for a giant rainbow flower. I would pop a walnut or similar in them and with an elastic band create a head. Then would tie knots for arms and legs to make dolls. Hm what else...? Oh yeah! I could just with a few stitches attach them to bean bags and have hours of throwing games with them. Or they would look amazing floating in the bath water!!!Or with a peg attach them to twigs and fly them as flags!!! Or just simply hide them in special places where Hugo would end up (bookshelves, drawers, boxes, under the table to give him a surprise of finding his silky friends:) Can I have them now pleaaaaaaaaaaase?!!! :))) Hajni gubigu74@hotmail.com

Ohhh. It is definitely Good Earth. My boy and I would use it to make ourselves invisible so we could go on a secret adventure. Or we could wait for the cat to fall asleep and build a fort around her....So many possibilities!

Sunshine is gorgeous! I would drape it over my love seat and when the wee ones come over and visit with their mommy, they could play with it... and when not, we all could enjoy the beauty and feel of it.

I am a fellow Ontarian who stumbled across your lovely blog several months ago - I think I was searching for waldorf toys... I work in a Waldorf school and have two small girls who would be blessed to have your Good Earth silk to help welcome spring stories into their wee hearts...

I'm totally hooked on your watercolor palette silks, gorgeous! I'm not a pastel color lover usually but these speak to me, maybe it's the color combo, or I'm in need of a few changes with the colors that usually surround me? I'm looking for changes in my life right now, trying to define myself as a person and not just a wife and mother, and needing to surround myself with beautiful colors that speak to me and inspire me to become something MORE than what I am.
I've worn silks on my head as a headband or summer bandana, on my hips with a funky skirt, as a belt, around my neck to bring color and pazzaz to an outfit...there are endless posibilities with playsilks, that's the beauty of them!

My favourite is Heart of the Rose. I would wear it as a cape and run through my back yard chasing my 2 boys aka "bad guys" because I am SuperMom!
