BTRT Patterns (on Etsy)

Friday, 18 June 2010
In Waldorf education, each day of the week has an associated colour, planet and grain.

Over the next while I am going to feature handmade, natural items that would be wonderful to help mark the rhythm of the week at home with your little ones.  Many of the items come from members of Etsy's Natural Kids Team (search: naturalkids team).

Friday is Green. In my vocation, green is the colour of 'ordinary time'~ that is all the regular days of the year not associated with particular festivals or seasons like Advent or Lent. Green is our standard, or fallback liturgical colour with good reason :: growth, new life, hope.... Enjoy today's green selections found by searching 'naturalkids team green' and 'natural toys green'!

Oh my!  This Tapestry is out of this world!  Made by darialvovsky:
Who wouldn't love a cake topped with this sweet woodland scene? by theenchantedcupboard:

And a final green cutie, from Freedom Rainbow:
