BTRT Patterns (on Etsy)

Thursday, 1 July 2010
I am having so much fun making little houses for the wee folk~ Wee Dwellings!
Each house is knit with hand dyed (artisan or by me) wool yarn, fulled and embellished with needlefelting, applique and other means.  The roof lifts off for play (and storage) but is attached by the handle (so that unlike my drawer full of staroage containers for food, the house will KEEP its lid!) for carrying. Kits and patterns will also be available by the fall for the do-it-yourself types!
This house is Rowan's~ it stands approximately 10" tall and was begun when her favourite colour was yellow.  It has since switched to purple!
Perfect for playsilks, dollies, toadstools and many more tiny treasures!
The sweet trees pictured are from Etsy shop Quietude Quilts.
I will be stocking several Wee Dwellings on Hyena Cart on July 9th at 9 pm EST.
