BTRT Patterns (on Etsy)

Sunday, 19 June, 2011
In Waldorf education, each day of the week has an associated colour, planet and grain.

Sunday is white.
And at this time of year, it makes me think of dandelions.
I adore dandelions.
Unstoppable sunny yellows and wishy wonderful whites!
We chose the dandelion in seed for our logo/symbol for Daydream Believers.
And we make it a habit to seed rebellion everywhere we go (Rowan and I) by blowing the white puffs and spreading the seeds far and wide.

I recently read in a book, about a family who didn't blow the tempting white puffs, but instead strove to catch the seeds on the wind before they hit the ground~ each one being a fairy, and when you save her from landing on the hard ground, she grants you a wish, which she carries with her when you let her go.
We love it!

And here are some wishes for you from some wonderful Etsy artisans....

1. Sometimes When You Fall..., by Artibility.
2. Perennial Moment, by Paper Moth.
3. Make a Wish Tags, by Anista Designs.
4. One Wish, Natural Wooden Button, by Token & Pine.
5. Puffy Puffer Puffing, by nut & bee.
6. Dandelion Wish, by down above.
7. Dandelion Seeds Rubber Stamp, by Talk to the Sun.
8. Coin Purse, by Red Mush.
9. Possibility Custom Tee, by Daydream Believers.
10. Hand Embroidered Dandelion, by Blake's Work.
