One of my favourite things about blogging is getting to 'meet' so many interesting people.
Being touched by their stories and inspired by their creative living.
Today's guest is one of these creative and interesting people.
Reading her blog compels me to go and make something.
Sandi Henderson has been a name known to me as the designer of my favourite fabric collection~ Meadowsweet. Oh! the pinks and oranges and strawberries and....
Sandi is a fabric designer, she is also a clothing designer under her Portobello Pixie label. Her designs are colourful and full of soft flowing lines and feminine touches. She also gardens, paints, takes wonderful photographs and mothers her {adorable} children. Oh, and there are books, too (one and another on the way)!
When I read Sandi's post about her garden in the morning, I knew she was a woman after my own heart! The dandelions, the nameless purple flowers, the dog on the blog...
I was delighted when Sandi agreed to be our 'tuesday's guest' this week and to share her fun new tutorial for crayon play clay~ perfect for keeping kids busy during long summer days. As Sandi says, she prefers creative kids over lazy ones. Amen to that!
So why not hop over and take a peek into Sandi's inviting world and snag the recipe for the Crayon Play Clay while you are there? (Hint from BTRT: submerge your crayon(s) in hot tap water for 30 seconds and the labels will just slide off!)
Thanks Sandi, for sharing your summer fun idea as our 'Tuesday's Guest'. ♥♥

What a beautiful blog she has and how pretty is that clay?! Definitely going to try her recipe with my girls. Thanks!
We love making clay, this one is a fun addition to our other recipes, love it!
Love "meeting" new artists too, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing her Crayon Clay recipe. I will be giving this a try with my little ones!
How cute are the jumper pants and top! I just started making children's clothes and am loving all of the wonderful fabric selections.
